Storage and transactions
Choose a storage type
Use SQLite for one server. It is enabled by default and stores data in plugins/PixaWallet/pixawallet.db.
Use MySQL when multiple servers must share wallet balances, purchase history and spending statistics. Every server must connect to the same database with the same table prefix, while MYSQL_SERVERNAME should identify each server separately.
Database:
TYPE: MYSQL
MysqlConnection:
MYSQL_IP: "127.0.0.1"
MYSQL_PORT: 3306
MYSQL_USER: "pixawallet"
MYSQL_PASSWORD: "replace_me"
MYSQL_DATABASE: "minecraft"
MYSQL_PREFIX: "pixawallet_"
MYSQL_SERVERNAME: "survival-1"Restart the server after changing the database type, connection details, SQLite file or MySQL prefix. /wallet reload is not sufficient for storage changes.
The prefix is used for the players, history and purchases tables. It may contain only letters, numbers and underscores.
Purchase lifecycle
- The player selects an offer and optionally confirms it.
- PixaWallet validates the price and player balance.
- The balance is deducted and a persistent purchase record is created.
- Each
Buy_Commandreward is executed by the console. - The final status is written to the purchase history.
Only one purchase can be processed for the same player at a time.
Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
PENDING | The transaction started but has not reached a final result. |
COMPLETED | All configured reward commands succeeded. |
DECLINED | The purchase was not accepted or could not proceed. |
REFUNDED | Reward delivery failed completely and the deducted points were returned. |
PARTIAL | At least one reward command succeeded and at least one failed. |
Partial purchases
A PARTIAL purchase is not refunded automatically because already delivered external rewards may not be reversible. Review it with /wallet history <player> <page> and the relevant server/plugin logs.
After an unexpected shutdown, PixaWallet warns about unfinished PENDING transactions. Review the purchases table and delivery logs before changing balances manually.
Webstores
PixaWallet does not process real-money payments. A webstore that can execute Minecraft console commands can grant points with:
wallet add <player> <amount>Players can then spend those points in PixaWallet GUI stores. Keep administrative permissions away from players and execute webstore commands through the server console.
