Troubleshooting

The plugin does not start

Confirm that:

• Java 17 or newer is installed.
• PlaceholderAPI is installed and enabled.
• The server supports the plugin's Paper API baseline.
• The full error and the first Caused by section are available in the server log.

A bundled menu file is missing

An error such as the following means the configured file is not present in the installed plugin package or data directory:

Inbuilt .../menus/confirm_menu_pl.yml not found

Install the latest complete PixaWallet build and verify that plugins/PixaWallet/menus/confirm_menu_pl.yml exists when Polish confirmation menus are selected. Also check that MenuSettings.MENU_CONFIRM_CONFIG_FILE uses the exact path and capitalization.

/wallet cannot open the menu

• The selected menu folder must exist.
• A loaded menu must have the identifier Main_Menu.
• Menu identifiers must be unique across all YAML files.
• Check the console for YAML parsing and invalid material errors.

Menu changes are not visible

Use /wallet reload after editing messages, menu files, placeholders or integration settings. Restart the server after changing storage type, database credentials, SQLite file or MySQL prefix.

A custom item falls back to vanilla

• Confirm that Nexo, ItemsAdder or HeadDatabase is enabled.
• Check the item identifier and capitalization.
• Keep a valid vanilla Material fallback.
• Confirm that players have the matching resource pack when CustomModelData or custom assets are used.

Player_Slot does not appear correctly

• Use a slot from 0 through 35.
• Use Slot: "-1" for an inventory-only offer.
• Do not assign multiple buttons to the same player slot.
• Check the console for menu validation errors.

The original inventory is restored after leaving the store. If another inventory-modifying plugin conflicts with the overlay, reproduce the issue without that plugin before reporting it.

A placeholder returns zero or does not resolve

• Confirm PlaceholderAPI loaded before PixaWallet.
• Use the configured primary identifier or alias.
• Verify that the player already has stored wallet data.
• Reload after changing PlaceholderSettings.

MySQL does not connect

• Verify the host, port, database name and user permissions.
• Allow the Minecraft server's address through the database firewall.
• Ensure MYSQL_PREFIX contains only letters, numbers and underscores.
• Restart after changing connection details.

Do not post database passwords in public support channels.

A purchase is marked PARTIAL

At least one reward command succeeded and another failed. Check /wallet history, the server log and the logs of the plugins used by Buy_Command. Do not repeat the full reward blindly: determine which part was already delivered first.
